Seaview Resort Khao Lak ★★★★

swimming pools are great with slider and play area for kids amd long enough for lap swimming. beach was good too.

pool villa needs to be more private. when using a plunge pool there is no privacy at all. there is almost no barrier between plunge pool and outside.

Location is very good.

Quite a shabby hotel complex where some parts were worse than others. Really in need of a complete renovation. The pool bar in the upper part is closed despite high season.

Spacious rooms, great facilities - a few swimming pools, one of which more than 50m long, water slide, jacuzzi, right on the beach.

Breakfast was the same every day. Not enough sun beds on the beach. It is a pity that not all facilities were open - bar in the swimming pool would have been nice to be open and have a drink while sitting on the chairs in the pool.

Pool and location were great.

Beech restaurant was slow and both times forgot items ordered, but food was nice. My daughter (28 years old) hurt her leg when some decking round the pool snapped and her leg went through to the knee. But pool area at the back was great and fish in pond too.

Fantastic bungalow. Very clean. Pools were amazing. Proximity to beach a big plus. Staff very friendly and attentive.

A big resort with large pools. We had a very roomy pool villa close to the Olympic size pol at the back in the garden. Moniter lizards, birds and even a tree shrew seen. Staff friendly and room service food we ordered was good. Breakfast had a fair selection.

We were under the impression that we had a vila near the beach which was not so, Beds ver hard but soon rectified with toppers. Facilities limited due bookings and the beach facilities quite a way from room.

Room was huge and beds comfortable. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Pool is great and staff are lovely. Everybody very friendly and helpful.

Balcony chairs and bathroom and public areas a little dated and could do with some TLC. Muzak at breakfast was annoying and more variety of food items at breakfast would have been appreciated. Sunlongers round pool are tired and stretched so not very comfortable.

Breakfast very cheap quality, lots of mosquitoes, whole building outdated and requires a lot TLC.

Loved the size of the ocean pool for doing laps and the beach front area. It's in a good location too.

Would like the pool to be open until 8pm in evening. It was a shame that breakfast is served out the back of the complex, rather than along the pool and water front. It was a lovely resort, but we like a more rustic space so not the best choice if you want a more authentic jungle vibe place.

Staff speaking English hardly.Some kind of stream flow through the all pavilions. It’s a great nursery for mosquitoes and a little bit stinky.

Excellent location to great bars and restaurants. Superb pool areas and wonderful breakfast spread. Brilliant friendly staff. After initial concerns we ended up having a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel appears to be going through a lot of renovation work which is needed and once complete this hotel will be great. I would not recommend staying in the ground floor deluxe garden rooms as our room was quite musty when we arrived and also had many mosquitos. However once I mentioned this to the staff our room was sprayed and mosquito plug in put in room. Our room was also deep cleaned. I was offered a higher floor room however as our stay was short and the room improved after cleaning/spray we stayed put. The front office manager was excellent and I do genuinely believe this hotel is heading in the right direction.

This property felt like a four star all inclusive. A variety of areas with pools for families and all ages. A great selection of lawn chairs at the beach. No need to rush out to save chairs. The included buffet was fantastic with a good selection of food, fruit and great coffee! The staff were attentive and very polite. Peach at the front desk made our vacation special by making a villa with pool possible for our stay. Rooms comfortable with good beds and pillows.

Breakfast was good but missed the pineapple juice every second day. Would have liked Bananna out all the time.

Wasn;t explained that the family residence was away from the main pools and beach. If I had have known I wouldn't have booked it.

Amazing swimming pools for the children and location couldn’t be better. Staff very helpful, great breakfast.

Beds were a little hard

The hotel is directly at the beach and in the back in the middle of khao lak city. So you can enjoy both. We had by arrival some issues with the room but got helped and found a solution on spot. Again thank you to the staff and management for solving the problem so fast and easily. We traveled as a family of 4. We the parents as well our child and baby loved everything. The pools are great and the staff is very friendly. If you have any request within minutes somebody will assist. The food is very delicious and for everybody is something to eat by breakfast. I don’t understand some of the previous reviews regarding the breakfast as really for everybody is something. Even a kids corner for the children. Also when we arrived the hotel was not full ( we could see at the pools as well in the restaurant to breakfast) but still the staff was very friendly and helpful. After a few days the number of guests increased and we couldn’t see a difference to before. So here again we don’t understand some previous comments about low season and not friendly staff. We can only say we had a wonderful time and if we would come back to khao lak we would definitely love to come back to centara as well.

Our first room was smelly and had some mold spots. We made one upgrade to a beach villa and all was perfect afterwards. The Restaurant ( we had once dinner) is quiet high from the prices if you compare to the restaurants outside of the hotel. But the food is very delicious. We had a beach villa with plunged pool here it would have been nice that in 11 days somebody would have cleaned the pool from leaves and so on. But for sure if we would have said something definitely somebody would have come directly to clean it. For us it was ok. But thought it could have been done sometimes.

Very spacious room and beds were also big and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay. Looking forward for the next visit.

Called for room service breakfast, they answered they were very busy and can’t deliver at room and they only deliver for sick guests.

Very nice resort, many swimming pools and awesome breakfast.

Was hoping to be closer to the beach with a view, but 2 bedroom family options are with no view. Pools could be a bit cleaner.
